As much as I complain about all the bullshit that goes on around here, sometimes nice stuff happens too.

Good Afternoon,
I wanted to recognize the superb efforts of KB, ramanda and NH with respect to our participation in the annual Preferred Partner workshops last week.
As mentioned within this morning's meeting with the CEO, the COO and the rest of the Sales and Marketing team, RIM was the only partner that was asked to participate and present within these workshops. Our workshop, which was attended by over 400 dealers was very well received by the participants. In many cases, Dealers as well as Data Sales Managers would approach me afterwards and commend us on the fact that they had not witnessed a better workshop geared specifically for this channel.
I'm sending out this message to thank Education Services for playing such an important role in the success of these presentations. Specific thanks goes out to the Overall Project Manager, KB and the designer ramanda for their hard work and willingness to continually satisfy the customer's requests. Many times the content, timeframe and even the premise of the workshop changed. Although frustrating at times, your group continually demonstrated the professional and hardworking attitude that our company is continually striving to demonstrate within the worldwide community. I would also like to recognize NH for the fantastic job she did in articulating the message within our presentations. The Indirect Channel is often a difficult audience to present to, largely due to the varying degree of subject matter expertise. NH presented in such a way that the audience was always active. Her high energy presentation was often injected with humour while ensuring the overall message was clearly articulated.

I've never even met this guy face to face. And it means a lot to me that he would take the time out to write an email like this. There are very few people in the corporate world who are willing to give credit where credit is due. And I appreciate that. I don't need money or gifts, but a pat on the back sure goes a long way. You better believe I will bend over backwards to help this guy (or any of the members of his team) again in the future.
